At The Sideline, our family of seven is driven by a deep love for our community and a commitment to giving back. We’ve always dreamed of creating a space where athletes of all ages can come together to tumble, jump, stunt, and cheer on their school teams from the sidelines. Our goal is to offer more than just classes—we want to create an environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel empowered.
Whether you’re homeschooling and looking for a place for your children to learn new skills, or you're bringing your toddler to explore, make memories, and grow, The Sideline is here for you. This is a place where kids can thrive, stretch their minds, and develop the confidence to overcome challenges—where they’re encouraged to dream big and believe in themselves.

FARRAH DUNAWAY
DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM AND OPERATIONS
Farrah Dunaway brings over 20 years of experience and leadership to The Sideline, with a proven track record in coaching cheerleading, acrobatics, and tumbling at both the collegiate and high school levels. Most recently, Farrah served as the Head Coach for the Acrobatics & Tumbling and Tiger Cheer teams at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU), where she guided the programs to significant success over six years.
Before returning to ETBU, Farrah was the Cheer Coach at Marshall High School, where she led the Mavericks to a National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) national ranking. During her tenure at Marshall, Farrah also mentored more than 30 All-American Cheer and Mascot nominees, with 12 athletes earning the prestigious All-American title.
Farrah’s coaching experience extends to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB), where she served from 2005 to 2012. At UMHB, she developed team-building programs, conducted cheer camps, and worked closely with athletes across Central Texas. Under her leadership, the UMHB CRU Cheer Team received several accolades, including the Texas State Cheer Championship and achieved 5th place at the 2011 NCA National Mascot Championship (Division I-III).
In addition to her coaching expertise, Farrah has served as a judge for UCA, NCA, and Acrobatics & Tumbling competitions for over 23 years. Her extensive experience as a competition and tryout judge has given her a unique perspective on the technical skills, performance quality, and sportsmanship required to excel at the highest levels of cheerleading and acrobatics. This background allows her to provide invaluable insight and guidance to athletes preparing for competitions and tryouts.
Farrah’s approach to coaching is grounded in her belief that athletics offer an opportunity to empower individuals, both on and off the mat. "It is truly a blessing to help athletes grow, not just in their skills, but in their character," she says. "This is an incredible opportunity for female athletes from diverse backgrounds—from USA Gymnastics to artistic acrobatics to all-star cheerleading—to thrive in a positive, supportive environment."
A 2000 graduate of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Farrah understands the unique challenges and rewards of mentoring young athletes. Her leadership at ETBU contributed to the program's success, including securing a bronze-paid bid to the NCA College Nationals and earning an All-American Mascot title for the Tiger Cheer Team.
Farrah is excited to continue her journey at The Sideline, where she will continue to inspire athletes, foster a culture of excellence, and help athletes reach their full potential in a disciplined, supportive environment.
